The Journal of Surgical Radiology is a peer-reviewed, open access medical journal that publishes original scientific research, critical reviews, case reports, statistical compilations, descriptions of innovative methods or procedures, clinical studies, technological advances, and editorials in all areas of surgery and radiology.
Peer Review
The Journal of Surgical Radiology exceeds the standards of peer review as set by the National Library of Medicine. A double-blind peer review process is preserved to minimize any external influences between institutions, authors, and reviewers.
Open Access
The purpose of this journal is to foster the free exchange of medical advances to a broad audience. There are no charges for authors to submit their articles, no charges for publication, and no charges for full text access. Only a nominal charge is assessed for the print version to cover printing and shipping costs.
